Website Update

Hello,

Hopefully, you have noticed that our website is finally up again after our hosting provider upgraded their servers. We have created a new domain name for our website, although the new domain and the pre-existing domain will work. The new domain is http://www.computertipsandtricks.co.nr. Our videos will begin to appear on YouTube and hopefully our website every 3-4 days. The next episode will be the second installment in our Windows Vista series. It will be released on 12/31, but you can check our website tomorrow for a sneak peak at a screenshot and the title!! We also have reverted back to our old email address, applegeeks2@gmail.com, because we were having problems with the other email. Today, we are also announcing a new feature to our website, a mailing list. We will email you updates, blog posts, sneak peaks (in video format), and special members-only tips and ideas! To sign up, send an email to applegeeks2@gmail.com with a subject of Signup.In the body type your first name and email address.

Invisible Folders

Have you ever wanted to make an invisible folder that nobody can see, even if they enable hidden folders? Well now you can! It's built right into Windows and is easy.

1. create a new folder
2. rename the folder Alt+0160
3. release Alt and press Enter
4. Right Click on folder
5. Chose properties
6. Click the customize tab
7. Select Change Icon
8. Scroll to the right until blank icons appear
9. Choose one click ok and ok
10. Enjoy

Nvu is the best web developoment program that we have found so far. It's small in size, but it really packs a punch. Nvu is a WYSIWYG web development program (meaning what you see is what you get). One of our favorite features is the publish feature. This allows you to publish the page you made in Nvu to a website via ftp. The only feature that Nvu is lacking is an easy way to embed video. We highly reccomend this download and it earns 4 stars out of 5.
